Question:
Is there a plan to give us a space where can set up a "shop" where Soldiers can bring their families or visitors can stop by to get 7th SFG(A) FRG Stuff (apparel, gifts, etc), to drop off donations, to get registered for FRG Emails, Newsletters, etc? If not, who can we petition to get such an office or location set aside for our use?
Answer:
Yes, an interim plan is in place and items can be donated to the Airman’s attic which is operated by the Airman & Family Readiness Center. Although space is limited, the AFRC believes an area can be allocated for Army-specific items. Until the FRGs can establish their own 501c account, monetary donations can be submitted to the AFRC’s Family Assistance Council. These donations would be strictly for the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) unless authorized by the FRG representatives to use otherwise. Army Soldiers and their families will be able to register for FRG emails and newsletters in the AFRC’s Discovery Center.
