Questions:
- I am looking for an apartment in the Crestview or Niceville region. I do not want to live too far from the new 7th SFG (A) compound. I have tried looking online but I have had little luck. To give you an idea of my budget I am single, have no dependents, and I am a 1LT. What places would you recommend, or who can you direct me to so I can get more information? Thank you for your time.
- Which is the safest area to live?
- Is there a list of banned apartment complexes from the Housing office?
- More information on Post housing like floor plans, locations, etc.
- BAH Comparison chart by rank?
- Where is the hospital, clinic or police department?
- Approved apartments in Eglin AFB area.
- I am an E-8 in 7th SFG, getting ready to move to Florida next year. I have older kids and grandchildren and they all are staying here at Bragg. I just purchased an Class "A" RV to live in for a year and a half while I am in Florida. I cannot find any RV parks that will accept long term living. Talking to a lot of guys here the senior guys like myself do plan on getting an RV of some sort to live in for a year or so then retire back to Bragg. Can you guys please look into where guys such as myself may get long term RV spot rentals?
- If you're part of the new move to Eglin for 7th SFG (A), what housing location are you eligible for? Eglin, Hurlburt, others? We will be field grade with 2 children.
- In one of the BRAC meetings someone stated that there would be a link to a real estate site that would have all the MLS for the area. Is there a timeframe that that link will be set up or is that not something that is going to happen?
- Looking over the new BAH rates for 2010 I have noticed the rates have gone down for Eglin AFB. For an E6 it is almost $50. Are these 'maybe' rates? Looking over the real estate market I haven't noticed a drop in prices so what was the reasoning behind the lower rates for the new year? The housing MLS was referred to many times in the BRAC today; where is this "MLS" on the website. (1st Time Buyer Question)
- What is the current housing situation in the local communities?
- Policy housing (on post) for geographical bachelors - allowed in the barracks, room-mate list?
