Answer:
Dormitories/barracks on Eglin Air Force Base are for unmarried military members E-4 and below.
For more information on the availability of unaccompanied housing (single housing units), please contact the Eglin Housing Office at 850.882.4533 as well as your local Housing and Finance Offices. For your review, we have attached AFI 32-6005, Unaccompanied Housing Management.
In regards to the possibility of “rooming” with a fellow Soldier(s), the NCO could request through his/her chain of command a “DL” message be sent prior to the move to assist in linking Soldiers with similar situations together.
