At JobsPlus One-Stop Career Centers, we have designated military spouse employment advocates who provide a variety of employment services, including job search assistance, career planning and counseling, assistance with interviewing skills and résumé preparation.
Our Military Spouse Employment Advocates are also co-located in the Airman and Family Readiness Centers at both Eglin AFB and Hurlburt Field and work closely with the Community Readiness Consultants to coordinate the delivery of on base spouse employment services.
As you begin to research IT or any other positions in Northwest Florida, we would encourage you to begin utilizing Florida’s employment search engine, www.EmployFlorida.com. Employ Florida Marketplace is Florida’s official online portal to virtual job-matching services and many other workforce resources. It's a powerful tool, created through partnership between government and the private sector, to respond to workforce needs in our state. Job seekers can create and post résumés, search thousands of openings in any or all of our 67 counties and access other career-development tools.
