Welcome! At Okaloosa Schools, we are proud to be ranked among the top school districts in the State of Florida, and we are committed to maximizing the academic potential of every child. Our 3rd-12th grade students consistently perform well on the Florida Comprehensive Achievement Test (FCAT) in reading, writing, math and science. Our high school students regularly beat the state and national averages on the SAT and ACT tests and over half of our graduating seniors earn scholarship funds. Our high schools offer a wide range of Honors and Advanced Placement classes with certified AP teachers, yet also offer remedial reading and math classes, specially designed to help struggling students succeed. Our middle schools and high schools are proud of the number and quality of their sports, clubs and activities, allowing our students multiple opportunities to discover and develop their talents. Okaloosa launched the innovative CHOICE program, an award-winning state model for career education that allows students to earn high school credit, college credit and national industry certification, all at the same time. In addition, Okaloosa opened the first public ballet academy in the state.
